Strategy & Business Development

Union Living is an Indian startup focused on creating innovative co-living spaces and lifestyle solutions for young professionals and students. Alongside housing, the company explored add-on services like shared kitchens and community-driven experiences to enhance urban living.

I joined as a Strategy Intern at a time when the company was experimenting with new business verticals. The goal was to identify demand in the Mumbai region, design go-to-market strategies, and build business models that could scale. This meant analyzing consumer behavior, mapping competitive offerings, and creating strategies tailored to the urban millennial market.

My work involved market sizing, designing a subscription-based healthy meal service called “Union – The Urban Kitchen,” and building customer pipelines through direct engagement and feedback. The strategy and product solutions I worked on contributed to generating early revenue streams and positioning the company for growth in a highly competitive market.

Skills & Tools: Market sizing, strategy development, customer engagement, business modeling
Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Surveys/CRM tools.
