Volunteer

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a nationwide initiative in India that encourages students to engage in community service, social development, and awareness campaigns. It aims to instill a sense of civic responsibility and leadership through hands-on participation.

During my two years in NSS, I dedicated time to multiple initiatives, from education drives and awareness campaigns to environmental clean-ups. One of the most impactful experiences was organizing an 8-day camp in an underprivileged district, where I mentored 50+ children through educational activities and cultural programs.

These experiences taught me the importance of empathy, teamwork, and servant leadership. Beyond the immediate impact on the communities we worked with, NSS helped me understand how collective effort can drive meaningful change.
