Lifeguard & Swim Instructor

Being a lifeguard is about more than just watching the pool—it’s about responsibility, quick decision-making, and ensuring a safe environment for everyone. As a certified lifeguard, I was trained in CPR, first aid, and water rescue techniques, which equipped me to act swiftly and calmly in high-pressure situations.

Alongside lifeguarding, I also worked as a swim instructor, teaching both children and adults the fundamentals of swimming. This role required patience, clear communication, and the ability to adapt teaching styles to different learning needs. I focused on helping swimmers develop both technique and confidence, creating a safe and encouraging atmosphere in every session.

Through these experiences, I built strong leadership, risk management, and teaching skills. It was a unique blend of responsibility and mentorship—protecting lives while helping others grow more comfortable and capable in the water.
