General Secretary, Student Council

The Student Council at Don Bosco Institute of Technology is responsible for leading campus-wide initiatives, representing the student body, and organizing cultural, sports, and technical events. Serving as General Secretary is the top leadership role, overseeing all council operations.

As General Secretary, I was at the center of planning and execution. I led 20+ heads and coordinated 100+ volunteers to manage over 40 events in a single year. This required balancing logistics, sponsorships, marketing, and team dynamics—all while ensuring students had memorable experiences.

One of my biggest contributions was creating strategies that improved efficiency and participation. Through better sponsorship outreach and targeted marketing, we increased revenue by 50% and boosted student participation by 33%. Beyond the numbers, the experience taught me how to align a large team toward common goals and lead with both vision and detail.
